I love Ilsa Lund

Or rather I love Ingrid Bergman. I've seen Casablanca more times than I care to admit. It's probably my favorite movie. I know every word of every scene and I'm secure enough in my manhood to admit it. And of course, Ingrid Bergman was incredibly beautiful.

On a side note... my wife hates the film. She says it's 'sappy' and that Bergman is too weepy and weak. To which I say... "So what!?!"

I pick up cheap little cards of actresses here and there and I have a few of Ms. Bergman. These are from Europe and Asia, mostly unauthorized and generally pretty cheesy. A few are stickers and many are constructed with the flimsiest paper possible. But I collect them nonetheless.

Here are a couple more famous scenes from her greatest role.

  1. I know it's a classic... but I've never seen it. Bergman would be prettier if she smiled ;-)

    2. Yup... I knew she'd be prettier. One of these days I'll get around to watching it. I have a bunch of classics I still need to get to like Gone with the Wind and Citizen Kane.
