Not that the Rangers/Bruins stuff isn't cool, but...

I had the same thoughts as Hackenbush... those records are certainly... um... diverse. The only featured album I own is the Beatles "Revolver" album, which I have on both vinyl and CD... actually I think we may have two copies on vinyl, because we probably have mine & Mrs. Shlabotnik's.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3550073840562722051.post-82594353248549179002014-05-24T13:55:17.164-05:002014-05-24T13:55:17.164-05:00Wow, what a game! That group of records sure runs the gamut--Ode to Billy Joe and Get Rhythm, Ray Charles, Bill Cosby, crap like Little Green Apples and Honey, Nancy Sinatra and The Association all the Way to House of the Rising Sun, and Eleanor Rigby. My favorite and I still have the LP is Alice's Restaurant.Hackenbushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15507810776309048794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3550073840562722051.post-87390172775690460122014-05-24T12:38:52.112-05:002014-05-24T12:38:52.112-05:00Dave Balon was a favorite of my Dad. I just think it was the hair.

I got to looking at the cover shots again this morning and was noticing the stick brands. Funny how kids are, all my friends had an allegiance to one brand or another. I used a Victoriaville stick and then a Northland 'goalie' stick which my father made out of a regular stick that he cut down and then added some more wood with brads and an aluminum strip as I recall. I don't think CCM had many boosters among my street hockey buddies. It's also the reason I sent you the Dave Balon card a while back. Even though the card had him as a Canuck.Mark Hoylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05562266064195629037noreply@blogger.com
